Scholarships

NSHSS Foundation scholarships have been created to help reduce financial barriers for high school students as they prepare for upcoming careers in STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), business, economics, public policy, and environmental science and sustainability. The Foundation seeks to engage these future leaders in order to help fuel the global economy, stimulate innovation and creativity, and yield a strong ethical foundation for decision-making. We seek to support higher education to enable our future leaders to achieve their dreams.

The scholarships are targeted toward high school seniors, or rising college freshmen, who belong to groups generally under-represented in these careers.

"This scholarship means a lot to me. This summer I have been mowing lawns and working for my parents' rental property business--from tiling floor and painting houses, I have been working to save money for college. This scholarship will help me tremendously with covering the cost of tuition."
