October is National Bully Prevention Month

Abercrombie & Fitch, in partnership with the NSHSS Foundation, is kicking off this October’s National Bullying Prevention Month by launching its new ongoing scholarship program to help promote anti-bullying awareness in schools and communities. This initiative opens October 1 as part of an international campaign to recognize young people who are actively working to prevent bullying or who have overcome the challenges of being bullied.

Are you someone who has helped promote anti-bullying awareness at your school?  Or, have you persevered and overcome the negative effects of a bullying experience that has happened to you?  Then be sure to apply!

High school students worldwide who will graduate in 2014, and who have a minimum 3.0 GPA, are eligible to apply for these awards.  The scholarship opens October 1, 2013, and closes February 1, 2014.  To apply for this scholarship, visit http://nshssfoundation.org/scholarships/abercrombie-fitch-anti-bullying-scholarship/

“We’re proud to offer college tuition assistance to individuals who have been victims of bullying behavior, yet who found ways to achieve academic success in the face of these obstacles, and to those who have advanced the anti-bullying cause on a local basis,”
Todd Corley, A&F’s Senior Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion
