Sierra believes that soft, communicative skills are important assets to all leaders, and she currently serves as the president of the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) for Colorado Young Leaders (CYL). CYL is a nonprofit organization aiming to unite high school students through volunteerism and leadership. For numerous years, Sierra has aided in organizing a “student-led service and empowerment conference” for high school students. Sierra is president of the National Honor Society, the founder of a mentorship program, and is her class valedictorian.
