Sabrina Cabezas

As a self-identifying “relentless force for positivity,” Sabrina works to end the generational cycles of low levels of education and “inherited poverty.” Though Sabrina’s maternal family is originally from Cuba, she has witnessed their rapid assimilation and socioeconomic success in the United States. Noting that the ease of her family’s transition was due to their prior educational foundation, Sabrina seeks to revolutionize global education standards. She hopes to provide young women with the necessary knowledge and skills to overcome their societal limitations, especially in cultures with a legacy of discrimination against women. Sabrina also plays varsity volleyball and works for her family’s business.
