Lynsey appreciated learning about both natural and synthetic products during her internship with the owner of Lucky Bear Soap Co. She explains that she “learned how to create hand-crafted organic soap, lotion, herbal tinctures, aromatherapy sprays, balms/salves, essential oil blends, soaking salts, and much more.” Lynsey has also participated in the Oregon Youth Conservation Corps, and she directed her focus to improving the school garden and parks’ native habitat restoration. Lynsey participates in 4-H and she has served as a caregiver for Down to Earth Caregiving. She plans to enroll in an organic farming/horticulture program in college.
