Kate has worked in the geosciences research lab at Boise State University. While working in the Boise Center Aerospace Laboratory, she assisted in creating tutorials on the use of Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) remote sensing software. Kate has presented her research at the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area Symposium. She has taken her school’s most rigorous courses and will graduate with an International Baccalaureate degree. Kate is chair of the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights Youth Engagement Committee, a Wassmuth Education Board representative, a National Honor Society member and a founding member and secretary of the International Club. Kate is also an avid volunteer and tutor.
