Kalpana Vaidya

Kalpana created the annual World of Science event four years ago to encourage elementary school students to pursue STEM fields. Kalpana is also the president of the Austin Angels Dance Team, a member of the UIL Computer Science team, and the junior team leader of Austin Science Olympiad. Kalpana created a different stream for students with STEM interests who did not make the Science Olympiad team. She is also the Activities Coordinator for Mu Alpha Theta. Kalpana is a member of the National Science Honor Society, the National Spanish Honor Society, and the National English Honor Society.
