Hector Ricardo Salazar

Hector aims to promote the “protection and conservation of the ocean and marine life.” He has traveled to the Galapagos Archipelago, where he increased his knowledge of endemic plant and animal species. Hector has participated in a work-study program at the John G. Shedd Aquarium. He has worked with cancer researchers through the University of Chicago TEACH program, and he has also participated in the UIC Early Outreach Program and Space Camp and the Museum of Science and Industry Regional Science Fair. Hector will major in biology.
