To increase breast cancer awareness, Emmanuel established PINK (Planning, Incorporating, Notification and Kickoff). PINK would consist of an all-boys volleyball game with members of the varsity girls’ volleyball team serving as coaches. Emmanuel sold tickets and offered incentives such as discounted tickets for students who wore pink and shorter class times to allow for more time to participate in PINK. Emmanuel recruited members of the cheerleading team to help cheer for the volleyball teams, and he spread flyers throughout his school’s campus. PINK was a sold-out event, and Emmanuel donated the proceeds to breast cancer research and the recovery of breast cancer victims. Emmanuel has participated in the Student Council, the African Students Association, and the Interact Club.
