While I’ve seen how acts of compassion can really improve someone’s day or week, I want to devote my career to making a larger difference in people’s lives. I want to give more to the society that has given me this chance. I don’t yet know what I want to do, but I’ve discovered passions for two seemingly different subjects: Biology and Law. I love understanding the complex genetics behind hybrid flowers and the way an immune system can attack the body it’s supposed to protect. And I’m fascinated with law and how it can be used to support or undermine fairness and justice. Though different, both disciplines help others and give back to the larger community. My hope is to continue to grow and to become educated in college and beyond, while figuring out how I will serve the world and do more.
