Danelia discovered her capacity to lead and her passion for engineering when she was introduced to her school’s Robotics Mini-Course. Though new to the field, Danelia served as captain and led her team to success in competition. She then ran for Student Body Vice President and won. Danelia leads with fairness and consideration as she seeks to accurately represent her student body. She believes a leader should maintain an awareness of other’s needs, and commits her efforts to the betterment of her peers. Danelia is the founder of her high school’s debate team, a camp counselor, and she sings in Latin.
