Bryonna Crockett

As a high school freshman, Bryonna was chosen as cheer captain. For the first time in her school’s history, there were two freshmen cheer squads. Other students and Bryonna’s squad members began to notice stark differences in ethnicity and body type between the two squads. Bryonna was captain of the more diverse squad and seized the chance to develop her leadership skills. She encouraged her teammates not to view the squads hierarchically, but to channel their energy into performing to the best of their ability. In addition to serving on the Student Council for four years, Bryonna has been casted in lead roles in multiple school musicals. She is also a church youth leader.
