In 2016, Allison founded Plushies Aimed to Comfort Hearts (PATCH). She explains that her goal is “to bring hope to abused children by providing them with a ‘comfort item’ and to raise awareness about child abuse.” Allison established her school’s first child abuse awareness campaign, which was funded by a grant she received from the City of Dublin. Allison was name a 2017 Dreammakers and Risktakers Award recipient. She is also co-president of Interact Club, and she has played the piano for 15 years.
