Joe Coleman, CPA, is the Senior Tax Manager at Rushton. Joe’s primary focus in this role is to develop, grow, and lead the tax department. Joe and his team provide tax compliance, planning services, and consulting services for closely-held businesses and their owners in the medical, professional services, and technology industries.
Joe has extensive experience in preparing corporate consolidated tax returns for companies with a billion-dollar revenue, developing tax planning strategies, preparing complex federal and multi-state tax returns for various entity types, and maintaining and developing client relationships.
Joe joined Rushton in 2026 and has previously served as Tax Director at Tower Leadership and Moore Colson, Atlanta, and as a Tax Manager at MSTiller, Atlanta. He joined the NSHSS Foundation Board in 2020.
