Members of the board come from broad disciplines. They are all passionate about diversity, inclusion, and engaging young people to become global citizens and leaders. The members of the board are held accountable by their commitment to create a “today” that is guided by the youthful optimism of this current generation – a generation that relishes the opportunity to break-through traditional thinking and generate a response to causes and concerns.

Todd Corley

Todd Corley is the creator and catalyst of The TAPO Institute, a think tank and strategic advisor advocating inclusive leadership. He is a former corporate officer in charge of global diversity and inclusion at an iconic retailer, where he elevated them as the “#1 Specialty Retail Brand” among the African American segment and positioned them –

Carlos Bortoni

A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Bortoni’s career has focused on education and technology. At Batten, Bortoni has been tasked with building a global network of tech sector advocates and advisors for Darden and increasing programming for students and faculty. He also aims to strengthen the student experience across the entire pipeline, from admission recruiting to post-Darden alumni networking and events. Before Darden, he oversaw strategy for Qualtrics’ global education practice, working with thousands of K-12, higher education and public sector clients globally. Bortoni also worked in the education practice for Hanover Research and for global consultancy PwC.

Robert A. Marchman

At the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) Mr. Marchman is the Senior Policy Advisor on Diversity and Inclusion/SEC Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI). Highlighting the development of strategies intended to expand diversity and inclusivity within the SEC and its external partner, Mr. Marchman works to advocate for financial literacy and inclusion in overlooked sectors of the investor community. --

Tanya M. Odom, Ed.M

Tanya M. Odom, Ed.M. is a global consultant, writer, coach, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, and civil rights thought leader. She has worked globally for over 20 years, in over 40 countries, as a consultant, coach, storyteller and facilitator focusing on areas including: Diversity and Inclusion, Inclusive Leadership, Race/Racism, Challenging Conversations, Mindfulness, Coaching, Wellbeing, Innovation and Creativity, and Educational Equity.

Dr. Yawei Liu

Yawei Liu (刘亚伟)is the director of the China Program at The Carter Center. He became a member of the Council on Foreign Relations in 2014. He is the associate director of the China Research Center in Atlanta and an adjunct professor of Political Science at Emory University.

Kolby Keo

As Director of International Affairs at FGS Global, Kolby develops and executes comprehensive public diplomacy campaigns. Previously, he managed external affairs for the University of California Washington Program and served as a legislative aide to U.S. Representative Alan Lowenthal, advocating for the largest Khmer community outside Cambodia.
