Be Fearless Scholar Awards

Be Fearless Scholar Awards

Be Fearless!

“Being fearless” means setting audacious goals, acting urgently and accepting the possibility of failure while still pressing forward.  Being fearless does not mean being reckless, foolhardy, or throwing caution to the wind.  It means daring to do the right thing, to trust passion AND wisdom as your guiding stars.

Claes Nobel, found of the NSHSS Foundation, says, “The World Betterment Legacy of my uncle, Dr. Alfred Nobel, coupled with my life mission to promote peace, environmental sustainability and earth ethics, have been my own guiding stars.  Be Fearless!”

The NSHSS Foundation is providing $5,000 to help inspire young leaders to share their stories about being fearless in ways that demonstrate outstanding leadership, scholarship, and commitment to their communities.

  • A total of ten (10) $500 scholarships will be awarded.
  • Eligibility requirements include high school sophomore, juniors, and seniors worldwide with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or the equivalent.
  • Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the student.
